Dr. David Kenigsberg President-Elect
Dr. Kenigsberg received his Bachelor of Science degree and his Medical Degree from the University of Miami in the
prestigious six-year Honors Program in Medical Education. Subsequently, he performed his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Kenigsberg then went on to cardiology fellowship at Henry Ford
Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, where he served as the Chief Cardiology Fellow. Finally, he completed his training in a two year electrophysiology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth
University/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
Dr. Kenigsberg is the medical director of the electrophysiology laboratory at Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, Florida. His academic roles include serving as a Clinical Assistant
Professor in the Division of Cardiology at Nova Southeastern University, a Clinical Preceptor for the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Program at Keiser University and a Voluntary
Assistant Professor of Medicine, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Kenigsberg is
currently Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He has published many scholarly articles in peer reviewed journals. He
currently proudly sits on the Board of Directors of the Broward County Medical Association.
